I can change volume values but i can not hear any sound.
The sound was working in the initial Herd5 install but today i updated
the kernel and i got this problem.

i don't know how the zoom functionality should be implemented now. This
is another problem and you should add another bug. Once beryl is here we
can find it a use.
The problem with the wireless functionality is related to the way
wireless.sh script is implemented.
It uses
/sys/class/net/eth1/dev
I have fix logic of the script. I had wrote it like a prototype without
testing it.
Now it uses /sys/class/net/eth1/device/rf_kill instead of power/state.
I think there will be a problem (permission probleme) with display the zenity
windows run as root in the user display.
We must run the script
I don't know how to better describe this bug. The external monitor is
just not working.
It is enabled in gnome-display-properties but the external monitor is
still not receiving any signal and remains in standby.

AFAIK, translations for the installer are kept in ubiquity(GUI) and
debian-installer(CLI, backend).
In Lucid and Karmic a lot of strings are in Ubiquity but for Hardy I
imagine the GUI strings are shared with debian-installer.

Start Firefox in safe mode

Ok. Strange indeed :)
The error occurs only on the first time you start Ubuntu and on the
live-cd.
I have tested this on a virtual machine with Karmic Release Live-CD.
There is not ~/.dmrc file
The output from gconftool -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
layouts = [de]
options = []
I am removing the gimp20-tips template as it was not updated in Launchpad since
2007-03-05 22:42:53.096392

The Kubuntu docs translations from Launchpad only reflect kubuntu-docs
revision 107.
Since then Jonathan Jesse has done some changes and not all were
reverted by Matthew East.

No problem. If those changes will be pushed to Karmic, from the
translations point of view it is better to wait and see them updated in
Rosetta and annonce the Ubuntu Translators. After a week or two we can
expect some of those translations to be done and we can also update the
translation in kubun
translations as
there is a big risk that strings translated in the early stage will be
changed and translations discarded.
