I can mount and browse shares using nautilus or smbmount but i cannot read or
write files.
Files Permissions are OK.
The server is Windows 2003 pc that shares a public access directory (no
username/pass required)

[Cons] Developers are not paid for their work so they feel no hurry to

I have a similar problem (if not the same). I figured out that keyboard
shortcuts operate on "Master Volume" instead gnome-volume-applet let you
choose the channel to track. In my case, the channel "Master" doesn't
affect the output volume at all. The real master volume is instead
"Headphone". This

mainline repo.

Maybe i didn't explain myself well. The program doesn't crash, it sticks
on loading (the window is unresponsive) and i have to force quit (kill

I forgot to say that i was already forcing the kernel to use KMS (this is
indeed what i was testing), so it is not enabled by default.
I ran several test and the ONLY way to get DRI2 working is from console:
1 boot with KMS off
2 close X
3 reload radeon module with KMS on
4 and restart X

On booting i get this warning message
"One or more of the mounts listed in /etc/fstab cannot yet be mounted"
caused by this line on fstab
# /media/storage was on /dev/sda2 during installation

The warning
as i matter of fact i usually download my files to an NTFS partition (mounted
via ntfs-3g driver).
Does transmission have problem with that?
I will download next files in my ext4 root partition and let you know if
the problem is still present.

i suppose ntfs-3g is the correct one. linux-ntfs currently provide only
userland utilities.

I have a fully updated karmic and a couple days ago i started to have
this bug. I even tried to delete the whole directory ~/.local/share
/gvfs-metadata to force some update but didn't help.
