It sort of fixed it self, there seems to be an issue with the latest KDE
4.4 upgrade, had similar problem with my laptops, one is a Dell Inspiron
1000, the other an Inspiron 1545. kpackageKit crashes or freezes, If I
reboot the upgrade finishes, sometimes I have to run dkpg --configure
