I have the same issue. It forced me to revert back to 19.04 from latest

Yes, it worked also for me this way. However, if the drive isn't
formatted with NTFS it works straightforward, so I guess it is a problem

Import libraries such as libmsvcr80.a, libmsvcr90d, etc. are missing.
Latest current (stable) MinGW binary release for Windows has these.
Without these import libraries, important C runtime functions such as

Reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04 once again, and same thing happened. The package
"update-manager" and "rhythmbox" couldn't get updated because during
their setting up "scrollkeeper-update" crashed with the aforementioned

I am using VLC media player 1.0.0 . The settings for the sound equalizer
and video effects ,.. etc do not stay after closing the player, so I

on Xubuntu jaunty the "Listen" Player fails to play MP3 files (while it
works in Totem).
FLac, m4a und Videos from YouTube work. But MP3 files are not listed in
the library and cannot be drag&dropped from the file manager (Thunar)

I have installed Xubuntu Jaunty on my Asus Laptop.
The internal SD card reader works, but I have to set the the SD card
write protected to have it write enabled and vice versa.
I guess it is the Ricoh RL5c476 II but I am not sure.

bars of the Xfce desktop do not appear!

Sounds more like hardware/driver issues instead of an alien arena bug.
What graphics card and cpu do you have, and does this happen for other
games? I think this is a pretty common occurrence for advanced graphics
