Well, if I could reproduce it, and type it out like you want it, I could
probably also fix it! What I do, is start X Chat from the panel icon, or the
list under "internet", then X-Chat IRC (x-chat gnome crashes the same way).
X-Chat partially comes up, with parts still not visible, hangs, and then

Every time I get an auto update, or a partial distro upgrade, it aborts, due to
the above error. Everything seems to be going fine, and then, it tells me it
has to abort.

I am getting the same error, with camorama, aMSN, and gYACHI. Also getting,

I too am having the same issue. Been using gyachi for 4 years now, never
a problem, then all of a sudden, this started. Im on 8.04, was using
Gyachi 1.1.48, but also reverted back to 1.1.31, 1.1.10 and 1.1.05,

No matter what I do, I can send mail from Evolution that does indeed show up in
my gmail, I can NOT however receive mail. These are the steps I have taken:
1) signed into gmali, checked off pop mail, saved settings, logged out
2) opened evolution, settings have been: pop.gmail.com
