Hmm, I'm not sure. I did get it working, but can't recall exactly.
However, it does look to be installed. That being said, I can't confirm
that was the solution.

I've purged mailman, removed files by hand, re-installed, etc. It
always has a permssions problem. I don't know why it gave this err
I think the context here is that the configuration can be bit of a run-
around. Correctly enough, the mailman support list says to contact
Ubuntu for support with configuration problems...this is the context of

What exactly is the problem? I know that it's worked in the past. I

Ubuntu 12.04 on sda boots fine with the SiS driver and runs LXFCE fine.
Ubuntu 12.10 on sdb boots fine, but no X program will start. Switching
to the VESA driver allows XFCE to run on, otherwise the graphical
interface will simply flicker:

It's a confirmed bug, by Brad-Figg, so let's leave it there. As to the
history, I don't recall any updates or anything like that. I've since
done a clean install.
It worked for a bit under 12.10 and then stopped working. I did a clean
install, partly for this reason, and am now running 13.04
I'm unfamiliar with Saucy. I can say that the phone mounts fine in
Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS installed onto new hardware. I'll look into saucy.
I think the bug's been confirmed by another user.
