When "disconnect" is selected in the ubuntu-one clous in the top task
bar it has no visible effect, the only way to get it to sync again is to
exit the program and start it again.

I did this, there where no files with non valid names in Ubuntu One folders,
but there where three elsewhere in my folders that I deleted.
I still can not disconnect the Ubuntu One Client so I can connect it again, I
have to close it and run it again.

This is true, I am also having trouble syncing sometimes, but I think that have
been fixed (that is another bug report) the only thing that is still not
working is that files names with ":" (without ") will not sync and will crash
the syncing.

Okey I will try to start it from USB because there is no CD.
Why is this a problem with the driver if it worked with 10.4 and works at
school with 11.4?

I started from USB and everything worked fine. So I removed the
restricted driver from my install and installed it again. The computer
asked me to restart. I tried this without restarting and then everything
worked fine, but after I restarted it stopped working and is back to the
same sittuation.
I have this same problem, this seems to be linked with the kernel that comes
with Maverick, 2.6.35-25. This first happened after I had finished updating
from 10.4 to 10.10 and restarted. I then did a clean install and there is the
same story. To get it working I have to change boot to acpi=off.
I would not say that this is a invalid issue. I want to be able to chose
what kind of evolution my icon starts, even if I start evolution from
somewhere else with, and the calendar and notes are showing, and i Stick
it to the side menu, then the next time I start it it is still in
express mode. Is
