I am having the same issue with at least terminal and Libre office. They
are not showing up in alt-tab and the triangle is not showing that
indicates that the application is open. The only way for me to see the
program is to use SuperKey-w or type "unity --reset" after pressing
alt-f2. This is very frusturating because now I am writing an essay and
libre office is always disapearing and I am doing "unity --reset" many
times each day.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 upgraded from 11.10 and even upgraded before
that, this is 32-bit version.
