I am running Jaunty 9.04 release and the last time I used Totem to watch
a DVD, sure enough there were my favorite horizontal lines. I then
proceeded to use Mplayer and setup deinterlacing and all was well again.

This really is the most annoying thing, to have your laptop beep out of
control in class on shutdown. I have 2 desktops and 1 laptop running
Jaunty and they all have the same issue. The following is my information

After a fresh install of Ubuntu and netbeans via "Ubuntu Software
Center", NetBeans Javadocs should work perfectly out of the box. Auto
complete, tool tips, etc... Everything gives this error when looking at
the Javadoc auto help drop down:
