When running dconf-editor, it is unable to save settings, two examples:
1. When trying to set org.blueman.transfer shared-path to a different
value, as soon as the "Apply" button is clicked, the value reverts to
the default (an empty string).
2. When running dconf-editor for
SOLVED
For some reason, dconf was attempting to save settings in
/var/lib/snapd/desktop/dconf/profile/user which was only writable by root,
removing this file made dconf work correctly.
I discovered this by doing an strace on the dconf command:
strace -o trace dconf write /org/blueman/transfer/sh

I just upgraded to 19.04 (Disco) and still see this behaviour (black
background to system tray icons in XFCE).
