This is a usability bug. Somebody looking for their hard drive in
"places" will not be inclined to search a "removable media" folder. I
can confirm this behaviour and I think it should be forwarded upstream

Hi Leann,
I tried Alpha 5 with suspend and resume on the LiveCD. The sound card
still does not work after resume, and applications which give sound
output tend to lock up; whereas before suspend, everything works just
snappy.

Here's my latest status for my Satellite A105:
Web, Play/Pause, Stop, Forward & Reverse all work. The Media Player key
itself doesn't work - it should probably launch Rhythmbox, but it does
not.
Fn+Esc (mute / unmute) does register in the computer and an icon comes
up which shows muting and unmut

Changing back to confirmed. I would like to request a higher importance
for this bug as well. It does not reflect well on the quality of Ubuntu
for Firefox to constantly crash while watching YouTube movies, which is
a very common activity these days.
