Can we get a high level of importance on this bug? I would consider
this a more critical issue for the majority of the user base out
there... those that are not as technical

Just checked it out, when I switch workspace, gedit follows me to that
workspace... this could be a whole new bug, or just a way of dealing
with the problem. Follows even if I have saved or not saved the
document.

This is hard to classify but here it goes...
If you attempt to shut down or log out of the computer when you have a
document opened that you have not saved you get a pop up over the file
that you have not saved saying that you will lose the changes you have
made to the docume
That just means that you have gedit window open somewhere, with an unsaved
document. Close it and you should be fine. It is just being extra careful,
even with auto_save_session.
