The system gives the error: "8254 timer not connected to io-apic" and Gnome
will not work.
In Kubuntu there is no problem, in Gnome with KDM instead of GDM the problem
stays.
Update is not possible in terminal screen !

When installing the FBB package, error messages are displayed.
AX25 libs are not installed,
Other libs have the wrong version.
I've tried the "Ubuntu" version on synaptic and the Debian pack, both with the
same problems.

Then the error "use -f option" was given.

I hope you can read and understand my English.
On my other laptop I installed Xubuntu 12.10 today and there was no problem.
So I tried on my "normal", with 3 partitions for 3 installations.
I tried to reproduce the error, but all seems to work now, don't ask me
why :-)
