This is more a nuisance than a bug, but I confirmed it on two different
machines.
We have a (Condo, I cannot modify it) wireless router that fails quite
frequently --- the AP disappear. After a few swconds (10 to 30, av
I really do not think that this is fixed... yes, now you can set
Ctrl+Alt, but this has side effects that I think are still directly
related to this bug, affecting gnome-settings-daemon and gnome-control-
center:
1) to make Ctrl+Alt+whatever other key combinations not working anymore
2) the fact
I received the (normal) update now. The problem is that the "options"
for changing the keyboard preferences has disappeared from the
"keyboard" settings... using gnome (not unity), could be for this?

@Marco: you're right --- wrong place. But if anyone would arrive here on
trying to solve a problem similar to mine: I can use the free drivers
simply removing the nomodesetting flag from the boot command line (which
was necessary to boot the installation USB). Thanks.

My solution, on a 13.04 system: use the standard language settings (not the
tweaks typing thing) and then add the extension "AppIndicator support". Open
configuration and choose "panel" for keyboard. Now you have the keyboard status
indicator in the gnome panel. Voilà. Ou est voilá? :-)

The issue is an Eisenbug ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heisenbug ). In
this moment my disk has been mounted perfectly and automatically (both
partitions). The messages are:
