I just did a fresh install of Karmic Beta and also see this issue.
Some additional information: Normally when hovering over clickable areas
in flash a "hand with finger" pointer is shown. When (and only when)

I am on a university network that fake DNS responses to re-direct you to
a login page before you are allowed to access the external network. This
is a pretty common setup for wifi on e.g. airports, restaurants, hotels,
etc.

Since the last comment on this is before 13.04, I'll just add that this exact
issue still remains on a fresh install of Raring. pdecat's workaround
echo 0 | sudo tee /sys/module/hid_apple/parameters/iso_layout
works.

I saw this bug for the first time today on a HP ProLiant DL140 G3. First
interface correctly named 'em1', second one came up as 'rename3' instead
