I tried with today's daily build and got the same result. I left it
sitting at 'Configuring Infrared Devices' for about six hours and it
never went past that.
The system is pretty common, an ASUS K8NE Deluxe motherboard with an PC-
HDTV tuner card.

Installation freezes at "Configuring Infrar
I was doing an install with the March 27th daily build and got to the
keyboard question. I hit enter, but apparently too soon because nothing
happened. The 'Forward' button was grayed out. After waiting a while
to see if it was doing anything, I tapped the down-arrow once; the
selection moved do
I ran it again, taking almost all of the defaults. I made these selections:
- I entered my name and a password
- I entered a name for the system (rather than taking the default)
- I did not change the services at all - so I left Samba installed, did not
install VNC, and did not install the Myt
This bug appears to be completely reproduceable and fairly serious. If
the user presses the key to move from one screen to the next,
then the best thing that will happen is that they get hung at the
keyboard selection screen. Both 'Forward' and 'Backward' are grayed
out, but nothing else happens
