[Bug 351674] Re: Backend setup is invisible on ATI Rage video card

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 341898 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341898 You are correct that running the updater fixed this problem, but I actually read the release notes and did not think this bug had been reported. The release notes say "During the live session...". I wasn't r

I tried with today's daily build and got the same result. I left it sitting at 'Configuring Infrared Devices' for about six hours and it never went past that. The system is pretty common, an ASUS K8NE Deluxe motherboard with an PC- HDTV tuner card. -- Installation freezes at "Configuring Infrar

I was doing an install with the March 27th daily build and got to the keyboard question. I hit enter, but apparently too soon because nothing happened. The 'Forward' button was grayed out. After waiting a while to see if it was doing anything, I tapped the down-arrow once; the selection moved do

I ran it again, taking almost all of the defaults. I made these selections: - I entered my name and a password - I entered a name for the system (rather than taking the default) - I did not change the services at all - so I left Samba installed, did not install VNC, and did not install the Myt

This bug appears to be completely reproduceable and fairly serious. If the user presses the key to move from one screen to the next, then the best thing that will happen is that they get hung at the keyboard selection screen. Both 'Forward' and 'Backward' are grayed out, but nothing else happens

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity These are the logs for bug 543801; I couldn't get Launchpad to find it, so my only option was to create a new bug. MythBuntu 10.04 Beta 1, installing a 'Primary Backend' only (and of course no remote control) hangs at 82%, every time I install.
