Experiencing the same problem here.
I have a laptop with a Core 2 Duo, one of the cpu's is at a constant 100%
(after the top-command, I identified "lshw" as being the cause, under user
root).
I am running Hardy Heron 8.04 with all the updates too, and have an Intel
4965agn wireless card.

I experience this bug in Hardy as well. If I open QT4 Designer (which
