1. sudo mkdir /etc/adobe
2. sudo nano /etc/adobe/mms.cfg
3. Paste "OverrideGPUValidation=true"

I am using Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 5 and dmraid with a RAID 0 partition. To
begin, I tried to put my computer to sleep, but for some reason I could
not resume. I rebooted but I failed to boot up Ubuntu. I got the error
"no block devices found" four times, "ALERT! /dev/mapper/myraidp
I have a Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard. It has two RAID chipsets:
jmicron and Intel. The jmicron chipset is turned off and I'm only using
the Intel ICH9R chipset. I have never had any problems with RAID 0 in
Ubuntu 8.10.
Just a note, I also had this memory corruption error when installing
Ubuntu 9

Firefox doesn't close properly when viewing a site with sound (ALSA) and
using wine (OSS) at the same time. When ever I play Warcraft 3 and tab
back into Firefox and then close it, I have no crashes (I can restart it
after I exit Warcraft 3) as long as there is no sound used w
I still have the problem with Alpha 4, so it's good to hear that a fix
is on the way.

I just installed Ubuntu Beta 9.04 and the ubuntu-restricted-extras
package. I visited liveleak.com to view some videos... At first the
video that I was viewing began to play with only sound and then after I
tried to fast forward the video, it then would begin to stutter.

I'm trying the new 9.04 beta 1 now and just yesterday I tried to print
something. My printer is a Samsung ML-2251N, and CUPS sees it as a
ML-2250. It has always worked perfectly in Ubuntu. After I tried to
print a PDF and website, all I got was "Processing" in the printer tray

getting past the mirror step. It keeps on asking me to choose a valid

file, and clicking once on a file, the file gets stuck in double-click
and drag mode. If you leave the window with the file attached to the

Here are the steps you should take to reproduce it:
1. click on a file with in a compressed package
2. the file will get stuck to the cursor
