I just tried the new Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 3 Live CD. Instead of the Ubuntu
logo with the progress bar, half of my screen (top) became red.
Following that white bars start coming through the red. Following this,
the normal Ubuntu desktop appeared.
I have an Asus M50-SvA1 notebook with a Nvidia 9500m video card.
