xorg appears to be segfaulting every night. It doesn't seem to happen
at exactly the same time, so I suspect it's not e.g. an interaction with
a cron job, and maybe has more to do with how long the computer has been

Thanks for the suggestions. It's possible that it might be something to
do with gnome-screensaver, but it's set to "blank," and if I'm only away
for a couple of hours I can usually still unlock the computer (although
the response seems a bit sluggish).

but it's a desktop and suspend appears to be disabled. My hunch was
that it was some kind of memory management issue, since if I tried to
resume after only a couple of hours it would work, but the graphical

Same bug on my System. On my Ubuntu 12.10 the bug occurs after the
installation of the unity-webapps for facebook. Removing the webapps
doesn't solve the problem.
