Same here. Just upgraded to Jaunty yesterday and checkbox-gtk doesn't
run as user. The version installed was 0.7.1 (which is supposed to have
the fix included). I guess it works for fresh installs but not for
upgrades.
For the record, workaround (including blacklist line in config file)
works.

Confirmed that it's still happening in upgrades from 8.10. And that
workaround (including blacklist line in config file) still works.

So it seems to be a bug in subclipse itself, not in any Ubuntu package.
A workaround is provided.

Correction: the bug is in Subversion, not in Subclipse, as stated here:

It seems that they are backporting the fix to the 1.6.x branch. Once
this is done, I think that "libsvn" package should be repackaged and the

Please check if this is releated to Bug #461201. If the workaround
provided for that bug works for you too, then it may be the same issue.

I fixed it by creating a dummy /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.mysqld
file, rather than removing the offending line in
/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld.
I guess it could be a packaging problem, where the local file has been
forgotten to be added.
