It's x86_64, as you can see. I forgot to provide details about my laptop: it's a HP Pavilion too, but the model is dv5-1210es, slightly different from @csabka. I was surprised to see that the provided kernel worked for @csabka, so I've just tested it again. I can confirm that it still fails for me, and that the previous released kernel (3.2.0-24) worked (I suspend my computer once or twice a day).
