The problem is still there on hardy and not only with ark:
if i get a file from a FAT32 device like USB key, then the accents
disapear! and if i launch kword to open my files using the open dialog
of kword (koffice 2), same accent problem, unable to open the file.
So i have to open it with kde3 a
after looking more and more on macbook's pro 4.1 problem, i've found the
similar fix for the first part, it's to say to have usable FN key:
just write this line in /etc/modprobe.d/options file:

i tried with start with 224 for keyboard id, it's to say on macbook air

Found something VERY strange just as i opened my MBA :
screen touches were working!
but stranger:
as i rebooteed, they were not working, so how is it possible? i've found some

Same here. Just upgraded to Jaunty yesterday and checkbox-gtk doesn't
run as user. The version installed was 0.7.1 (which is supposed to have
the fix included). I guess it works for fresh installs but not for
upgrades.

Mine hangs when I click "Preferences" menu option and leaves a eternally
"wait" cursor
Even if I kill -9 kopete it leaves a defunct process and doesn't start again
until a full system reboot is performed.

After unistalling libacr38* message pulseaudio does not complain any more, and
mouse does not crash any more.

Same bug, but in install CD its woking ok :/ . Workaround: change
"splash" to "nosplash" in menu.lst. In Feisty was working fine :( My

correctamente, sin importar si son absolutas o relativas. Por ejemplo:
