at home with the laptop screen.
Switching between the two modes make the icons reoder in strange ways.
I had this ever since I started using ubuntu on 7.04.

I checked further and it seems that if you unmerge the cells in row 1 and 5 ,
the problem goes away.
What does row 1 and 5 has to do with cells in row 6? I can't say.
I do remember that OO has many problems with cell merging in both Calc and
Writer.
I guess they did not fix all of them in 2.4.

I tried to use usb creator to create a read-write partition of 1 GB.
My computer got slow, and I checked using top, and "dd" was taking a large
amount of memory, and continually increasing (hundreds of megabytes). The
command was cop

I right now encountered this bug again, and I add my request to fix this
bug. What happened to Andrew happened also to me: On a previous session
I printed first the odd pages and then the even pages. Some time later,
I tried to print a one-page document and it took me some while and
frustration to

Also, pam-keyring can fail if user changes password. Generally speaking,
pam-keyring is a hack solution. It could work, but it just adds
unnecessary complication for a mostly trivial security gain. There are
things I'd encrypt using a keyring system, a network password isn't one
of them.

After that I have unloaded and reloaded my sound modules, and sound now works.
I haven't tried to reboot yet (though I don't see a reason why it should make
any difference).

I tried to create a disc with two tracks, both from the same mp3 file.
It failed before starting to write to disc.
When I copied the file and used the two copies, it worked fine.
I'm using serpentine 0.7-4ubuntu3.

According to the #gstreamer guys, this happens because of the package
gstreamer0.10-pitfdll.
So make sure that is installed when trying to reproduce the problem.

that vkeybd doesn't have a manpage.

hat I had
to run "vkeybd --addr 128:0" in order for it to work, since I really
don't understand those ALSA midi ports. But if the default would be
128:0, then even complete MIDI ignorants like me would be able to do
"sudo apt-get vkeybd; vkeybd" and start playing.
