I have just updated my system to Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid 32 bit from Hardy
on my laptop with an Intel 3945 wireless card.
With Hardy when I switch off the wireless card and then switch on,
Network Manager recognized the wireless again.
Now with Ubuntu Intrepid is no more so. If I switch off and on t

Today I have tried to display the same wizard windows on another PC without
Compiz activated and in this case both windows are displayed correctly.
So I have tried on my PC too to deactivate Compiz enabling Metacity. In fact

I confirm that the "r66" version fix the problem.
Just a note aside: when I open the UbuntuOne folder, on the "yellow"
strip at the top where is written "Ubuntu One File Sharing" the button
to connect/disconnect has the label "Disonnect" instead of "Disconnect".

I have just installed Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 on my new laptop HP Compaq
nw9440. This is a very recent hardware, but practically all function

Only one issue is yet present: the hibernate function don't function well.
When I logout from the laptop with the Hibernate
I have activated the Sleep/Suspend option in the /etc/default/acpi-support file.
The problem is almost the same as the hibernation. The PC suspend, but it don't
turn off completely.

I have tried the same thing with Ubuntu Hardy and I can confirm that now
the problem is resolved.
With Gedit I have created two PDF files: one with the "Print to file" option,
and one with the "PDF" (cups-pdf) option
