Now here we are! I have analyzed the content of "applications" directory and I have found that was the Firefox desktop file that have a problem. I have deleted this one and now the url saved on desktop open correctly in Firefox (in the mean time Gnome (or Nautilus?) has created automatically a new Firefox desktop file that function correctly).
