If i try to drag&drop a file inside a compressed archive from within

I apologize, I didn't mean to clutter things. However the screen saver
relates to the desktop effects issue and that relates to driver and all
of those issues just prove that the thing needs to be fixed, so in my
opinion it does relate, its not that I was talking about the keyboard or

I just tried to use the same exact device on a PC that runs the same
version of Ubuntu (kernel: 4.15.0-22-generic) but has USB 2.0 ports and
it worked as expected. The machine which reports the error has only USB
1.0/1.1 ports.

accompanying update of the kernel (4.10.0-37 to 4.13.0-16), the first
boot for this Toshiba NB205 laptop resulted in a garbled screen mid-
