I'd just like to +1 the following:
* Keeping EULAs out of Ubuntu. EULAs are usability bugs: not only are
they horrible, but one is obliged to either read them or risk breaking
the law. By using Ubuntu, I know I am legally on safe ground. Obviously
packages in multiverse may have to show EULAs, but
Mark: By putting forward "Iceweasel", I certainly never meant that
Mozilla was doing anything weaselly, and I don't see any evidence that
this was the original intention of the name. It's simply that ice is not

I have a radio killswitch (on my Thinkpad Z60m). But I need it on for

So I would like a way to switch off bluetooth without the killswitch

I upgraded about a week before release, using update-manager -d, and
agreed for packages to be removed. I checked the list, and don't

think you're using it, you probably aren't) then remove package e
Heh, if you look at the date this was filed, it was long before Hardy
was in alpha, and before Gutsy was released. It was in Feisty.
It's supposed to swap the capslock and control keys. And, as of Gutsy,
it does so.

Just upgraded to Feisty (from Dapper). In dapper I could connect using
knetworkmanager, but not with wpa_supplicant directly. Now it is the
other way around. When I boot, I get the "KNetworkManager is connected"
pop-up, and it shows the wired connection icon (I do /not/ have a wired
connection).

I want to confirm that this happens LOCALLY. Not sure what package it's

Any workarounds, please? This is really irritating!
