After completely uninstalling ttf-mscorefonts-installer package (sudo
apt-get purge ttf-mscorefonts-installer), installation fails because
"user did not accept the mscorefonts-eula license". At not point the
usual purple EULA screen did appear during the process.

Update from me, the patch for my display crash has been included in 4.11
RC5, and I'm not encountering the kernel bug anymore there, so it's 99%
definitely fixed in 4.11 branch.

Current behavior: screen is still black with only mouse cursor shown
after rotating screen, but Ctrl+Alt+Fx now works, and Ctrl+Alt+F7 brings
back normal rotated screen.

Tried to reproduce with both current vivid kernel and 4.0-rc2, so far
this bug didn't reappear, I'll update if it does.
I never tried Ubuntu 14.10 or earlier on that computer.
