I had an USB key with an Ubuntu live-USB plugged in. I ran apt-get dist- upgrade, which upgraded my linux-image packages. While upgrading, grub- probe would always fail with a "error: not a directory" obscure message.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling linux-image and grub-pc, but always ended up with the same error message. Finally, I just unplugged the USB key, and grub-probe would immediately run fine. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1608278 Title: package grub-pc 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.1 failed to install/upgrade: le sous-processus script post-installation installé a retourné une erreur de sortie d'état 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1608278/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
