I found the solution.
Sweethome3D 5.2 64 bit works in Ubuntu 16.04 64-Bit after installing the nvidia
graphics driver.
This bug is SOLVED.

I went "Additional Drivers" and installed the driver for Nvidia graphics
card from the given list as shown in the attached image.

In general, the problem might get resolved by installing proper graphics
driver from "Additional driver". I do not have system with ATI/radeon
card, so you can give a try tell the result.
