Public bug reported:
That mp3 file is certainly corrupted in some way, but using for instance
the xine engine, there isn't such a problem - except a little noise in
the point that make gstreamer crash.
* Every software using gstreamer is affected by this problem (rhythmbox,
totem, quod libet...)
** Attachment added: "gstreamer crash report"
http://librarian.launchpad.net/5175050/_usr_bin_gst-launch-0.10.1000.crash
** Description changed:
That mp3 file is certainly corrupted in some way, but using for instance
the xine engine, there isn't such a problem - except a little noise in
I'll also attach the log file made by this command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ GST_DEBUG=3,gnl*:5 gst-launch-0.10 filesrc
location=Desktop/Track\ 02.mp3 ! decodebin ! audioconvert ! esdsink >
~/Desktop/log 2>&1
I hope it's useful...
NOTE: I'm using libgstreamer0.10-0 version 0.10.10-1ubuntu2 under Ubu
Ok, removing the gst-fluendo-mp3 package it works perfectly. But I really don't
know how that package was installed on my machine... is it a default choice?
Also, have I to mark this bug as upstream?
thank you
p.s. Sebastien: uh, my compliments for your first session at UOW ;)
