had to install network-manager-vpnc. Not until 16.04 was network-
manager-vpnc-gnome necessary. This is what caused my initial confusion.

suspend.
It was doing it when I wrote my previous message, and that was a session
that was once suspended and later resumed. I just restarted, though, and
now it is NOT doing it.

Desktop by Name", it places the highest icon too high on my laptop's

After I upgraded to 12.04 beta2, the yahoo chess applet wouldn't work.
And, to the best of my memory, I think I uninstalled icedtea 6 (and 7 if
it was install). Then I installed sun-java6-plugin. At some point I must
have [re]installed icedtea-6-plugin AND icedtea-
Using the Synaptic Package Manager, I uninstalled every package that
mentioned "icedtea" in its name.
Then I closed Synaptic Package Manager, opened up a command prompt, and
typed the following installation command:

I was able to implement this functionality for myself using autokey-gtk:
sudo apt-get install autokey-gtk
Essentially, I added a folder in the left-pane of Autokey and associated
a hot-key with that folder. Then, under that folder I added 3 scripts to
facilitate easier switching between the 3 VPNs
