I have this card in my Presario C700: Broadcom Corporation BCM4311 802.11b/g WLAN [14e4:4311] (rev 02)
In previous versions of Ubuntu, I could go to the restricted drivers utility, and select a b43 driver that actually worked, but now all I see is a STA driver, and it doesn't work. Getting this wireless card to work, is more involved that it once was; I'm going to have to fool with it more tomorrow (it is bed time now). Why isn't this as easy as it once was (here in 12.04)? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/909871 Title: install failure b43 12.04 Precise Pangolin To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/b43-fwcutter/+bug/909871/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
