OK, 5 seconds of "udevadm monitor -e" gave me this output.
The CPU load actually changes a bit from time to time. Right now it's
about 15% and there is only 3 udevd processes. Sometimes the CPU load
goes down to being close to zero.

I got a warning about low diskspace while upgrading to 13.10. The
problem is that only the title bar of the dialog box is readable. The
text and the buttons are just squares. See attached screenshot.
