It looks like you are running 8.10 (Intrepid). The latest version for
intrepid is 7.18.2-1ubuntu4.4. Did you run "sudo aptitude update" before
trying to install curl?
It also looks like you haven't installed security patches for a while
("133 not upgraded"), so you should also run "sudo apttude safe-
upgrade".
