I currently have a Kensington Optical Elite mouse and a dell keyboard
that came with the desktop. After a few minutes ranging from 5 to 50
minutes my keyboard and mouse stop responding. The only workaround I've
found is to use either a secondary mouse, wireless, in addition to

Class Path -> Add Archive. Then browse to the java driver mysql-

I upgraded my Ubuntu 6.06 by 6.10 by gksudo command as given in the
alternate CD. I used to type regularly in Hindi in 6.06, but in the
upgraded version I am not able to proceed beyond one

from 6.06 to 6.10, I am unable to type more than one letter with हिंदी कीबोर्ड
in OpenOffice.
In gedit now typing seems to work.
Fresh installation of 6.10 is free from the problem of freezing beyond

It's still a problem for me, I'm running Ubuntu Lucid Beta 1 x86 with
Gnome 2.3.0, and it's quite a bother to have to use the keyboard to
navigate menus on a netbook. Even though it's not technically a

epiphany my favorite browser, and I'd really love to have them

I've just installed ubuntu 9.10 (32bit) on my samsung r470 (c2d p8600n +
nvidia g105m 256mb). Everything works fine except the brightness
control. Even the gnome aplet doesnt work. Only way for me to change the
brightness is to use nvclock/sm

Confirming the same issue on Karmic's rt kernel on 64bit.
X's log reports that the nvidia drivers were not found. DKMS seems to have done
it's job during the install tho.
Tried with Alessios's latest 2.6.31-8.10 as well, and the issue remains.

Just a follow up on the above:
The nvidia driver update which came thro today seems to have fixed the issue in
Karmic.
The rt kernel is looking good now.
