No problem on 3.6.6 was having (unrelated?) problem with full-screen
on videos, but that appears to be gone since latest updates.
( it's also possible that I was experiencing the "unrelated" full-screen

Update. I deleted (renamed) the .config dir from my home dir and now can
log into 24.04. I still cannot successfully boot to 22.04 though.
Recovery mode works partially, but fsck fails on a particular partition.
However what I believe is the same partition can be successfully
accessed from 24.04.
Thanks, aki, for the info. In the end, I did it a different way. First,
I realised my 22.04 boot issue was that a partition got reformatted
during 24.04 installation and the UUID was changed. I had to edit the
22.04 /etc/fstab file to replace the old UUID with the new so that 22.04
would boot. Once
I tried and commands in #15, but no luck, so really looking forward to
the 9.4 update.

that upgrade my wireless card was MIA. I am using the rt61pci wireless
driver. I restarted with the 2.6.24-19 kernel to get it back. I'm sure

removable media drive, which is confusing Nautilus, which treats USB
flash drives as "fake" SCSI devices. It's likely that nobody expects

I think we can nail the blame on the dpkg-reconfigure, because likewise
my first bootup was fine, and it only broke after that.
And sure enough, if /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst is called with
`configure`, it runs `enable_udevadm`, which unconditionally runs `rm -f
/sbin/udevadm`. Gotcha.

of this is that the UI-behaviour of the

We need to work with the gstreamer guys to get rtpmanager and liveadder
moved to -good. Upstream telepathy developers think at least rtpmanager
should be in -good. I am checking with upstream gstreamer.
