Yes, I think this is related to bug 40571: screensaver don't work until
I set preferences in monitor power savings. The fact is that the power
savings preferences are not "remembered". By the way, the screensaver is
set after 8 minutes of inactivity, monitor is set to power off at 25
minutes.

More info: I could succesfully burn a DVD+R dual layer of the same brand
(Verbatim) from a 6,1 GB iso image, which makes me think that the bug is

On Dapper, network-manager chose the right (i mean the latest used) ESSID
automatically and connect upon login. In Edgy, network-manager won't connect to
the latest ESSID, until I type as root

manager source code and I found inside manager.c the call to show the
"Low Disk Space" message. The condition in order to show this message
does not have an external variable. Adding one new user parameter to

I can confirm this behavior in Kubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon. When launched
from Adept Manager, the Software Sources dialog (Manage Repositories)
automatically reloads the package cache (Fetch Updates) when a
repository is added, removed, disabled, or enabled. It doesn't do so for
Adept Installer.

You can only have one Adept or APT (apt-get or aptitude) process running
at a time. This is to preserve the system's integrity while packages are
being installed or removed. In some cases, trying to open two instances
of Adept will cause APT to crash and lock down. In that case, please

repositories from "commercial" to "partner" in Gutsy, probably causing

applications. The system tray icon is actually Adept Notifier, which

I think this is more of a bug on how Adept Installer integrates
software-properties-kde. There is no update functionality built into
Adept Installer in the first place, so there is nothing called after
software-properties closes.
