Hello, Ive realized something, this behavior only occurs when I'm using
a second monitor, if I alt tab with only 1 monitor then alt tab works as
intended, but when using a second monitor then all the windows of the
app that are in the second monitor are displayed with Alt+tab. This
wasn't the case

I had this problem with ubuntu 11.10 when I pressing "2" or "Enter" at
login screen or in my account the first time I enter. A temporary
solution that work for me is:
Edit the file /etc/init/plymount-splash.conf and remove the line "or
stopped udev-fallback-graphics".

some time RAM use increase up to 1 Gb. Now Im using the opensource
drivers and compiz start at 26 Mb and after some use only 36 Mb.

There is an error on my comment, with FGLRX compiz start at 50 Mb and
total RAM used at +/- 300 Mb, after some use compiz go to +/- 150/200 Mb
and RAM to 1 Gb. With opensource compiz use at startup about 26 to 30 Mb
and after some use only go to 30 or 36 Mb. RAM start at 290 or 300 Mb

I ran the command apport-collect 810469 and the result is:

All it is working fine en normal mode, except in failsafeX mode that
doesn't detect my Intel VGA Card.

FGLRX driver and have this bug, compiz start with 40 Mb and after some work go
to 1 Gb or more...
Now I'm using the Open source driver, and compiz use at startup 25/26 Mb, and
maximum 50/60 with many windows open.

desktop. Here is a HP Probook 4535s with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200
Series using FGLRX drivers.
