Kubuntu 8.10 Live CD i386 alpha 4 loads and installs correctly but the
betas and the RC fails when it should be loading KDM. You get a blue
screen with Dia lines and it stops there. The Ubuntu Live CD will boot
and install correctly. I have only one computer to test this on

There is a work around I posted it on Kubuntu forum
requires small edit to a file 62-?? can't recall name also works in 11.10
but does not work in 12.04 because file does exist and adding it does work.

This MX5500 has been recognized automatically in the last two releases.
It does not work in the live CD or when installed by the ALT version or
live version have move to a wired keyboard and mouse
