The packages in you ppa, you mean? Those are not installable (both
depend on xserver-xorg-core and try to remove it). I think because
xserver-xorg-core is versioned 2:1.3.0*.0* in gutsy while in hardy it's
2:1.4.1*~2007...* and radeonhd seems to think 1.3.0.0 is bigger than
1.1.4~2007... or so
Or
about the ppa: that's a bug in lauchpad then. when I first get to the
page it displays hardy, but when activating gutsy in the selection-
thingy, it becomes gutsy (and the same for feisty)
about the hardy packages: I've built from git for now, not tested if it
works yet. but packages for hardy wou

I'm experiencing similar problems (totem plays sound, other apps don't
except for flashplayer sometimes). On my system this is also a
regression compared to 7.10.
I'll check my logs when I have the time, to confirm this bug.

looking at those logs, it could well be a driver issue. I'll try the ssh
thing in a couple of days when I have the time.
meanwhile, I'm subscribing libv to this bug.

petr, hapee: this bug is clearly not a crasher. if your app crashes, you
_should_ file another bug, because the GSlice stuff will not be the
issue. as sebastian said: there are a lot of packages that work
correctly even with the bug. (see the entry in the gnome bugzilla for
details)

the sansa is a camera. I cannot mount the sansa. It shows on its screen
that it is disconnected though, so I
