I did a complete reset of my iPod today. First just an upgrade of the firmware (3.1 -> 3.1.1) to make sure all formatting bugs would be gone. Then a full format + fw-upgrade.
It still passes all built-in tests, but the problems with the EFI /kernel-thning persist. So anyone who thinks of reformatting his/her iPod to make it work with dapper: think twice. ;-) PS: Waiting for a new linux-image release.
