Referring to the initial report - it would seem like there has been some
implicit fixes since that uname (i.e 2.6.24-17) and the current current
distribution pushed through APT:

Hello.
I downloaded and installed this:

It did (on occasion) get past the "loading manual drivers" message

I've the same as songohan82, except I do not face this problem every day (lucky
me!) and that for my part it doesn't seem to be related to Firefox at all.
I'd like to add that I'm a frequent user of "suspend" when I travel
to/from work, just in case this is a factor.

Won't boot after suspend -- console prints information regarding
problems with syncing filesystem.
If the machine isn't hard-bootet the kernel will eventually panic.
Had the same problem in 9.04, but since apport suddenly want's me to

After resuming from sleep, the login screen seems to be a collage of

This is a regression from 15.04 where it worked perfectly :-)

Today, it's elected to be plain blue - instead of mosaic/collage. :-)
Interestingly this happens when choosing "Suspend" from a logged in session.
If I lock the screen (to the "Switch user" screen) and select suspend, then
resume is all fine.
My graphics card is:

I'm not sure, but I think it's the greeter lock screen.
I suspend the laptop, then resume - and have it set up to demand password

The laptop that had that problem is long gone dead, I'm afraid - which
means I cannot provide anymore info :-/
Thanks for maintaining an awesome OS, though! ;-)
