I have a similar problem with an Abit IP35 Pro. My BIOS setting for SATA
mode is "IDE" (factory default, other options are RAID and AHCI). I
installed Kubuntu Gutsy with the alternative installation CD just fine.
However, I need to switch SATA mode to RAID or AHCI in order to boot the
installed sys

I have exactly the same problem with Intrepid Alpla6, which is using the
2.4.1-1ubuntu6 version of the intel driver.
My motherbord is a Gigabyte EG43M-S2H with the G43 IGP.

cursor is running. After a while, nothing happened. Terminal doesn't appear at

That's a good idea - but someone have to package currently supported
releases, and nobody (debian removed the mediawiki package, as I wrote
it in description) is doing it. Upstream is certainly interested in
this, but they aren't going to do it by themselves in the near future.

The missing libclang.so also causes some programs depending on clang
library not functioning well. An example is Vim's `clang_complete`
plugin. It searches for libclang.so but not libclang.so.1. Also, if you
write a simple C program and compile it with

I tried following command instructions to install and use vsftpd for
file transfers. The download process ran smoothly and it was running.
But, after I rebooted my laptop I received an error message that the

After #12, I tried to generate new alsa-info.txt file.
Please check attachment file again.
I confirmed that there is "snd_hda_intel: model = lifebook-extmic" entry in the
"Modprobe options" category.
But apple 4 pole earset's mic is still not working.

I installed oem-audio-hda-daily-dkms_0.1_all.deb
And rebooted my PC and plugged in apple earset.
But earset's mic doesn't work too.

It is compatible for Apple TRRS 4pole. It works in windows10 perfectly.
