Just did a minimal install of the Lucid Lynx beta. Then installed gnome-core
and gdm. I now get applet errors for fast-user-switch-applet (which is not
installed) every time I boot. When I try to install it I get a message that it
depends on gdm (which is already installed). Here's the error

Instead of opening a compose dialog in Sylpheed, a new Chromium window
will spawn instead. This happens even when Sylpheed is listed in

In Chromium, when I download a PDF file it saves it locally in my Downloads
folder. Clicking the "Show all downloads" link, I'm provided with a link to
the local file. Clicking that link does nothing. It should open up the

The utility scripts, xdg-open and xdg-email don't know to look for LXDE
as a Desktop Enviornment ($DE), or how to handle it. Because of this,
they the use generic_open() function to open files or send e-mail.
