annoying problem - when watching a movie with VLC for some time the
screen gets turned off and even locked by KDE.

I experienced this on machine with 32 bit CPU so it's not 64 related.
What's more important, as far as I understand this error message has
more than one source and is related to several kernel vs hardware issue.
As for me, I have it fixed. But other people with other HW are still
suffering.
