Update is that its has nothing to do with jbd2. In my case its chrome,
jdb2 is only writing stuff to disk if a app is telling it to do so.
Check iotop witch app triggers jdb2 and file a bug report for that app.

I can confirm this. It happened for me with all hardy gvfs releases so
far (hardy, hardy-proposed, hardy-updates). While I'm using mostly a
single-user environment, and therefore it is not that severe for me, I
think on machines that are used by more than one person without
rebooting this may cause

/camel-imap-folder.c which was meant to resolve gnome-bug #558883. After
reverting the mentioned file to revision 9736 in the stable

Maybe there are easier ways, but e.g. this should work:
Open a terminal and issue: dpkg -p libgtk2.0-0 |grep Version
For me it is still 2.14.3-0ubuntu2 and I'm using the main archive
server.

At least for me this is not true. I need access to a NPS-CMS, with
openjdk-6-jre this is not (yet) possible, for whatever reason (I don't
know, it simply does not work). sun-java6 is working fine, so there
still are minor differences. AFAIK sun-java6 is only an alternative to
openjdk-6, so at least

does not have a TV-Out, there is no docking-station for it, so it should

For me everything is working fine, including flash. RC 1 seems to be a
bit faster than the beta, some sites that caused a crash (e.g.
rys.wwf.pl) are working fine now.

selection dropdown box when starting the game. The box was there on
Ubuntu 8.04 iirc, but it's no longer available in 8.10.
There's a new upstream version available (2.7.2-2) at

What needs to be done to get this included in the next Ubuntu release? Is
