Nevermind about my simple fix of moving the order in /etc/rcS.d loopback still doesnt come up most of the time. I have to switch to a terminal, login, bring up loopback, restart gdm then switch to gdm. loopback is supposed to come up on it's on but the tmpfs for /var/run and /var/lock are not let
