5I can point out that it all started when Ubuntu decided to push the current version of firefox, before firefox version 2.0.0.11, i did not have this problem at all. It could also be related to something else but I don't know. Did somebody test with the previous version of firefox (but applying all the rest of the Ubuntu 7.04 updates, for example)? As for me, stopping gdm and running startx gives the same issues, it crashes as well but gives me the command line interface to retype startx again... I would love to be able to backtrack my firefox to the previous version, but i can't seem to get the previous version anywhere on the Internet.
